Marlowe Academy, Ramsgate

Completed in June 2006 this academy provides outstanding facilities under one roof for students and the local community. It includes a dance, drama, music and recording studio. The academy also has a community library and an Adult Education Centre, allowing it to integrate into the local community with local sports, arts and community groups. Architects BDP, specified a modern cost saving acoustic lighting raft, as an alternative to a traditional suspended ceiling system.
